Installation Injury Reports summarize information of injury related data of active duty U.S. service members based on health encounter data contained in the Defense Medical Surveillance System (DMSS). Injuries are summarized according to service and specific location. Since health encounter data may lag for several months, the data are recalculated for three successive months
(2 preliminary reports followed by a final report). Only the most recent report is available on the website.
