TB MED 505 ALTITUDE ACCLIMATIZATION AND ILLNESS MANAGEMENT 

30 SEP 2010. This bulletin provides guidance to military and civilian health care providers, allied medical personnel, unit commanders and leaders to provide background information for reporting and data collection of epidemiological information to note trends and to identify individual, work, and environmental factors that are not adequately controlled by preventive measures and policies.


OPERATION ORDER 10-78 (DISEASE REPORTING SYSTEM-INTERNET) 

28 SEP 2010. This document orders the transition from the Reportable Medical Events System (RMES) to the Disease Reporting System-internet (DRSi) for all Army medical facilities. The system implements the requirement for the Services to conduct surveillance and reporting for disease and conditions in the Tri-Service Reportable Medical Events Guidelines and Case Definitions.


DASG-PPM-NC Memo: Army Acute Respiratory Disease Surveillance Program 

22 JUL 2010. Updated guidance on the Army Acute Respiratory Disease (ARD) Surveillance Program, replacing previous guidance. The Army ARD Surveillance Program collects and disseminates timely, installation-specific information concerning ARD activity, allowing preventive medicine personnel to rapidly detect and respond to ARD outbreaks.
