Coast Guard Medical Manual (COMDTINST M6000.1E) 29 APRIL 2011. Commandant Instruction M6000.1E Coast Guard Medical Manual establishes policies, procedures, and health care standards for all active duty and reserve Coast Guard members and other Service Members assigned to duty with the Coast Guard. Medical Manual Chapter 6: Medical Readiness/Deployment Health (COMDTINST M6000.1E) 29 APRIL 2011. Chapter 6 of the COMDTINST M6000.1E describes procedures for, and directs implementation of medical/dental readiness and deployment health requirements for all CG expeditionary and routine deployments. It also provides necessary information on deployment health requirements, and the completion and capture of deployment health assessments via the electronic DHA system. The Medical Readiness Reporting System is addressed in Chapter 14. Medical Manual Chapter 7: Preventive Medicine (COMDTINST M6000.1E) 29 APRIL 2011. Chapter 7 of the COMDTINST M6000.1E describes the policies and procedures for preventive medicine. This chapter addresses disease outbreaks, communicable disease control, medical event reporting, sexually transmitted infections, and immunizations. COMDTINST M6230.4F Immunizations and Chemoprophylaxis 29 SEPTEMBER 2006. COMDTINST M6230.4F for immunization and chemoprophylaxis describes Coast Guard (and DOD) standards for immunization programs, specific immunization and chemoprophylaxis requirements, and specifies electronic immunization tracking systems as the preferred record for immunization data tracking. |
